In 2020, Sylvia was on a mission to lose weight as she’s always struggled with her weight. She signed up with a personal trainer and had a personal meal plan made but to her surprise after a few months, she still wasn’t losing weight. This lit a spark in her that maybe her inability to lose weight was rooted deeper than she thought and maybe it had nothing to do with eating in a caloric deficit and working out. She enrolled in the Natural Nutrition course at CSNN and learned so much about the body systems, what real food is and how food is truly our medicine.
Sylvia has gone through her own hormone health challenges (heavy periods, adrenal burnout, mood swings, PMS, estrogen dominance, insulin resistance and gut imbalances) and came out stronger, braver and healthier than she’s ever been but also staying aligned to her femininity. Sylvia’s health journey has opened her eyes to different modalities of balancing the body and is very passionate about supporting women in their health journey so they don’t have to suffer with their symptoms anymore.
Sylvia lives in Ontario Canada, is a mom of two wonderful girls and a wife to a wonderful man. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, meditating, walking in nature, cooking and spending time with her loved ones.
